Legally Blonde Unrealistic

Fun fact; I can recite the whole judicial scene of the legal blonde. And his Harvard admissions group. pic.twitter.com/BMH33TlvHu The movie may say that blondes can be smart, but investing all the time, money, and energy it takes to study law just to win back an ex is far from a smart decision. To make matters worse, she discovers on her first day of school that Warner is engaged to a woman named Vivian Kensington. Vivian is feline and rude and obviously does not like Her; She helps Elle get out of a conference and doesn`t let her into the class group. Of course, the court scene is completely unrealistic and I was sad to learn that the film was shot in California. But that doesn`t take away from my admiration for the old Bend `n Snap or fashion major that inspired so many young women to study law. Xoxo her. We will always love you and your hair care knowledge. This year, the film “Legal Blonde” will be 16 years old. The film starring the beautiful Reese Witherspoon is about a blonde fashionista named Elle Woods, abandoned by her Warner Huntington III boyfriend. Warner broke up with Elle because he was an aspiring politician who “had to marry a Jackie, not Marilyn.” Most Americans have not seen an in-person criminal trial. Most Americans have not picked up books on the federal rules of evidence.

Most Americans probably haven`t even read the Constitution. This is why the national perception of so many lawyers is shaped by how they are portrayed on television and film. Unfortunately, portrayal of lawyers in the film isn`t always cheap (think Kevin Spacey in A Time to Kill). Sometimes, however, even legal heroes misrepresent how the law works. This can spark unrealistic expectations in the hearts of aspiring young lawyers – who only receive the devastating blow of disappointment that Hollywood law doesn`t look like real-world law after deciding to study law. Despite Warner`s engagement, She`s still trying to win him back, which only makes Elle stupid, because if someone is engaged, it should be clear that you lost and the fiancé won. It should have been her signal to move on to a guy who wouldn`t leave her because of his interest in fashion or blonde. Overall, this film is unrealistic in some places and really understandable in others. The fact that it`s American reduces realism for English and Welsh law students, but honestly? It`s a motivational, challenging, feminist fantasy film that I think should be a must for anyone who wants to study law. Once again, The Paper Chase falls flat, as Hart and Co. are too busy to practice a lot of law on their own.

In Legally Blonde, she joins a team that prepares for the process and gains invaluable experience in the process. The ending of the film might be a bit unrealistic. but I had a jail client of two disciplinary charges at a hearing three months after my 1L year, and by the end of 3L, I had friends who won jury trials. The work is hard, as Legally Blonde shows, but personally and professionally, the commitment is worth it. Legally blond for winning in this category. She raises her hand and refutes Warner? ALSO REAL. Here she plays the classic role of “the devil`s advocate”. The class just wouldn`t be the same without them. (1) She decides to go to Harvard Law after her boyfriend leaves her at a fancy dinner party when she expected him to propose marriage. In the film, she is the only student in her law school who decided to leave because they were licensed, only 1 in 500, whereas I estimate that in the real law school, it is really about half. Even less precise is the motivation of the college friend to study law – he wants to run for political office one day. It would never happen, it`s completely absurd.

“Student practice rules allow law students to represent clients under the supervision of a lawyer,” Blefgen told Insider. “Like Elle, I was able to represent clients while working in a walk-in clinic. Let`s start with Elle`s signature app at Harvard. It`s a fantastic montage (and not the last we`ll see!); We discover that She`s really smart (“Oh, I have a 4.0!”) And while no one in her life thinks it`s a good idea or that she should go, she does.
